CALENDAR 2010-2011 and ATTENDANCE POLICY REMINDER
The complete list of dates of when classes start and end, holidays, and special events for the 2010-11 school year have been posted to the What's Next page. We would like to remind parents that AISA publishes its yearly holiday calendar 8 months in advance because, while we appreciate the realities of employer vacation timings, the early departure of students raises several difficulties for the school, the teachers, and for students. Students who exceed the 10 day maximum number of absences for the semester will receive No Grades or No Credit in all courses. We would ask all parents to make their travel plans accordingly.

IDENTIFICATION CARDS REQUIRED TO PICK UP STUDENTS IN PRESCHOOL TO GRADE 3
Beginning Monday, March 22, 2010, there will be a new procedure for picking up students in PreSchool to Grades 3. Only the parents or guardians of PreSchool through Grade 3 should keep the student ID card as you will be required to present it to the teacher before a student can be released from school. The person picking up a child from clubs or the Waiting Room is also required to present the child's ID card. Parents are asked to share this information with their relatives, friends, drivers, or nannies who pick up their children.
